And as anyone heard of a blue-ray? Cos this series would rock in blue-ray

many short run shows do that, release the dvd's a week or two before the next season premieres.

the tudors, lost, dexter all did that and it wouldn't surprise me if sanctuary did the same

atlantis is over, no sg1 movies till 2010, sanctuary won't premier for months, and now we have to wait for even the dvds of the season that just passed to come out...

i could certainly be wrong but given that there's no pre-order out yet, and pre-order is a month or three before release, we're already to late spring before it could be out for region one

I'm just curious about the extras. Cos I probably wont buy the DVD anytime soon, they usually come out a little expensive.

I think the only thing we have heard about extras is that it will have the original webisodes on it.

I read a blog entry in the oficial site, the women talks about being in charge of the audio comentaries. She mention that they had already done 5 eps. So atleast over 5 AC.
The webisodes is cool, it will take up a lot of space, but its better then having to spend more just to have the webis.

yeah, but if you put an average of 4 eps per dual layer disc, they have an 'extra' disc anyway for the 13th, so room for extras.

it won't be spending more, per se, because it'll still be a 4 disc set (or 2 if they use dual layer dual sided ones), there'll just be the extra effort of authoring stuff for the last one

they could also put 4, 4, 3, rev 1 and 2 on the same disc, and still have room for extras

they very likely will be dual layer. likely not dual sided however (dual sided are the ones without labels, just little words screen printed around the hole in the middle)
