Season 2 Hopes/Fears/Predictions !! Contains spoilers for S1 and 2

The character Peter Petrelli from the show Heroes.

He has the ability to absorb anyone's power and use it as his own permanently. And he stores all of them. So he's, like, this super super-hero.

That's the sort of character I don't want.

So Helen can have only her longevity and Druitt only his teleportation thing.

And Ashley I would prefer to only have one of the two powers.

That explains a lot. Never cared for Heroes. Never cared for the supernatural cliche of being able to absorb powers. It gets tiring fast. The only way I would support if it was a one time thing like Folding Man.

Well, I would like to see more of Henry's background. We know nothing about were's in the Sanct. Universe. Do they live as animals or men (or animal men?) He has some great control (at least now he does...I hope that is an unexpected benefit of being held by the Cabal...and I hope it literally bites them in the @$$!!!) over his powers; do all were's do that?
It would be cool if he was an outcast for some reason (maybe he didnt want to make his first kill), but now, with his new knowledge and control, he can win back the respect of his people.
Oh, and I hope there are other werecritters....maybe something controls what your alternate form might be, so one brother might be a bear, the other a fox, and your sister is infact a werewolf!

I like Tesla: while they could make him a 2-d villian, instead he is a snarky, intelligent badguy who might help you out if only because he needs you around for HIS master plan to work. OH, and he'll make you feel good about it, till he fries you. But it's not personal, but it IS personable!!


Oh, and a lil bit about Peter Petrelli: they did a similar thing to Rogue in the X-men books: suddenly, she could access powers that she had been exposed to. It seriously ruined her for me. Where's the fun when anytime thing get bad, you can go "Oh, wait, I got ____(insert hero name here)_____'s power to _______!" and suddenly everything is ok!
Of course, the other thing that made me turn from Heroes was when EVERYONE seemed to be related, have powers, and be way to soap-opera for my tastes.

I hope John won't be all good from now on. I would love to see conflicts there, him dealing with how he is, Helen not trusting him. The tension between them were some of my fav scenes in S1.

i didn't say she was 2D, nor did i say i disliked her, i just prefer henry is all. for the same reasons i like the lone gunmen but not yves adele harlow.
