And I know what you mean about not wanting to go anywhere when the weather is weird. I live in Georgia in the US and in the summer when it gets hot and humid we can have terrible storms in the afternoons - even tornados occasionally.
Yes, it was because of the weather. First it was warm, then it started to rain and it got cold, and in the afternoon the rain stopped it was warm and humid.

Today it has been raining the whole day long, I'm starting to get a bit depressed, I'm afraid that we will have another cold rainy summer.

As I needed something to cheer me up today and I couldn't decide what to watch I chose 'Galaxy Quest', proven for cases like this. And as usual it worked! I'm starting to feel better!

But it was enough. We had rain, and still have, and I heard that in the south of Germany it was sunny and hot. Maybe you can send some sunshine over?

So you kids need some hot weather, well you can have some of ours! Open up your Stargate and I'll send it through! Yesterday was up to 104°F is that about 40°C? Today is still hot, but somewhat cooler. I shouldn't complain, we have had worse.

Here's another article about RC and California Solo, talks a little about his days of hanging out with rock stars.
