A true SGU TV show.

One thing that they could do with stargate Univese and still keep people interested and keep the SG-1 sets, SGA sets, and the SGU sets is create a searies of Mini searies...
As far as I know there hasn't ever been a show formated like this.

-The show could still have the SGU theam a Team that is on the ship traviling thourgh the Univers... Main Premis.
-The mini-searies would be a story ark and Labled something like SG: Desiny then the Next ark would be SG: Oddyssey, SG: Atlantis Chronicals.
- You could go back to an ark easly and have crosovers easier.
- If one ark sucked then you could cut it but still keep the show going.
- You can cut cast members that just don't work and introduce new ones easier.
- you'll have more than one Main charactor with less coflict.
- each ark could vary how long it was 1 episode long to 5 what ever the story line permits.
-the all mini-searies would not have to be in the same time line.
-easly have multiple story line going for the same goal and effecting each searies or they could be completly sperate from each other.
-Multiple enemies-allies that effect only one searies or all of them.
-You can have one team's adventure looking for the Desiny and then the Desiny its self or something totaly unrelated to that mission.
- Past Atlantis/SG-1 cast would be able to appier easier on the show.
- Fresh ideas would be easier to put on the show.
- Cast members could shown on multiple shows at the same time...( a cammio here a full episode there).
-The SGU concept seems too far from Earth.
- In SG1 and SGA we saw how the show effected Earth this would keep that and keep your story running of traviling to other Galaxies.
-You can keep the franchise going and you can end an ark keep another, start a new or bring an old one back... you can also have an SG-1 ark and an SGA ark insted of just making movies.
-Short spin offs could be made and not accualy create a whole new show.
-We can see things breafly seen/metioned in SG1/SGA and movies. A breaf story line at the Alpha site/ the moon base/ Ship yards/ ext.
- New bases could be shown for example a spacestation made for the defence of Earth, a Mars base, a Earth colony, new Earth ships like science vessels, other types of military vessels,


Things that would be good for this is that you can have your "younger" fans and your "older" fans enjoy the show creating a new type of show format never seen before.This is a concept based off of shows like the Twilite Zone but using the same casts and same Universe and continuing the same story line.


This Would truely be Stargate Universe.

What about the viewers who watch random episodes? They'd be lost and tune out. The premise would get the show cancelled fast, because only people who watch every single episode would have any idea as to what is going on. Stick to a single premise and cast of characters.

The show wouldn't be radom episodes. There would be several episodes that related to eachother in a row. The next mini-searies would be a different view point of a group that was effected by the previous ark(a group of episodes that relate to eachother other than just the charctors.).
It's just a differnt way of tellling the story insted of having it in one specific area. i.e. the Destiny, SGC, or Atlantis. you can tell stories that are constantly intersecting and going apart from eachother... int a way just putting more than one TV searies togeather to make 1.

Ok I see how it could fail if you don't work it right... but WHY do YOU think it would fail... It's a new way to format a TV show... They do somthing simular on Heros but this would be a more defined seperation in story lines... Lost also did somthing simular to it when they put on an episode called. "the Other ## days" I don't remeber the exact title.

Think about it. You could do the main part of the show and say somthing like mean while on Earth or Atlantis this happens Example( they are able to creat a stable worm hole the the Ship and send 1 or 2 people through with limited supplys but you can expaline how they got that insted of saying "o we found a ZPM not being used") You would be able to keep attention on Earth and still have your ship in space. Not to mention insted of leting the SGC sets and Atlantis sets collect dust and be used only when ever they make a movie.

Lets face it Guest apperiances by fromer SG-1 and SGA shows will become near impossible to do without making them part of the cast or killing them off the way they have the show set up as it is.... well from what we know about the show.
