heehee I like Bandex! while i've always thought of myself as a ronon/teyla shipper, and i still sorta do, i think this ship has potential.

of course, i'm going to have to get over her replicatorness... hmm...

Me, personally, I'm still kinds of torn here, as R/K was my ship, but... Damn he looked very interested in her when she kicked some @$$!. So, I'm gonna give it a go. Anybody know if we have a fic or two out yet based on this, seeing as how we know the TPTB will most likely ignore this potential ship....

Well I haven't seen the episode yet I have to wait for DVDs but I am a Multishipper of Ronon and I see people who I generally agree with so I will hope on board this ship as a one of my many AU relationships that don't go with my personal canon but I like.

I like this potential ship a lot! Quite surprised at myself in fact, being as I'm a major R/K shipper. I may well attempt fanfic on it - got an R/K one to complete first though.
Perhaps it's just about bloomin' time that Ronon got the girl and I'm sick of waiting for that to happen!!

what does this mean for our ship? seeing as this is (sniffle) the last season of atlantis, i don't think we're going to get much of an onscreen ship between the two, but maybe that's a good thing. a little look here or there, just little indications that there's something between these two would be fine with me.

this was taken form the september/october issue of SGM, and the interview was conducted sometime during the filming of the first half of season five; mallozzi said in his blog that the amelia butt kicking scene wasn't included until late in the script writing process for this ep.

Its ok rosey, all will be fine. i think we all realise that we are not going to get much of a relationship with ronon. and i tend to agree with jason. i don't think he will have a love interest. but thats what dreams and fan fic are for. to live out the dreams. i want him to have a relationship, but i've also known it will prolly not happen. it sucks major. but i like to think ronon is a bit of a stud on atlantis

heehee same, i agree. it would have been nice ot see the walls go down a bit, and to see him have a romantic relationship. but at the same time, he's been on the run for 7 years, and it's amazing how he's formed bonds on atlantis. it'll take time for him to, once again, have that sort of relationship.

Very true. He's done quite well for himself on Atlantis, considering everything that has happened to him. And I imagine since he's mainly around the Atlantis crew, and considering what happened with Keller, he will probably shy away from a relationship. I do see potential with Banks, but as we know, if TPTB have something good right in front of them, they don't normally see it untill well after the fact or not at all.

With what little we know about Banks, I do think she'd be a good match for Ronon. She's not the She-Ra type who runs around saving the day, nor is she like Keller (and don't take this the wrong way, I love the character) who is so nervous and jumpy and can barely take care of herself in a non-medical stressful situation. That being said, Banks has shown that she can handle herself in many situations. Of course if you are going to work in the gateroom as a tech, you better be able to. Even for as jittery as Walter Davis got in SG-1 at times, he really came through for the guys when the need arose. And I see Banks following that. Not the jitteriness, the other stuff .

I think Ronon needs someone like that. Someone who can take care of themself, but at the same time needs him. She hasn't come across as needy and clingly, thankfully, but I imagine that like all women who have the courage to do what she does, that she has that softer side that loves a hot looking man taking care of them .

i don't know if I've made sense, but that's my .02 .

Exactly! True, he was teaching Keller how to defend herself, and she was proving a decent student, but methinks it works better with Banks already knowing .
