Ronan using a radio

Am I right in thinking that this is the first episode where we have seen Ronan using a radio? Apart from 'The Seed' where he needed one for obvious reasons. I was thinking about previous episodes and I can't ever recalling him using a radio at all really. Has anyone else noticed this?

Ronan is usually with Sheppard's team, its just more likely that John or Rodney would radio apposed to Ronan.
