The Daedalus seemed quite large and detailed. And it is a shame that our team almost completely destroyed it within a few hours!! I wish they had taken the ship, and gone on their own way, independent of the Earth and its politics, like space pirates.

The ship was fully functional at the beginning with no more visible damage than a few soot marks. It wasn't even dented. As usual it took only a clever flipping of crystals to bring it to operational state.

Had my scenario come true, the viewer could say that the characters were lost and dead to them. But that is of course not what is seen from the perspective of the heroes themselves. There is no reason why their lives should necessarily be worse in one reality or another. There is definitely loot to find, such as the alien fighter planes or the cool green pistols, which they hopefully kept.
