Sorry, polar bears ... I'll take this celebration over to the Shipper Family thread to continue.
    Welcome to Mala's World, ChopinGal!

Hey, you don't have to worry about polar bears here - we're a friendly Shipper Penguin zone...

You're welcome! I really liked seeing Sam in her new uniform with those eagles on her shoulders (of course, in my SG universe those were passed on to her from Jack )...

Btw, feel free to leave a link to Heat the next time you visit.

    Bring it on!

Speaking as an Atlantis fan, I really like Carter there. Nothing against Weir, mind you. I just can't help but enjoy a character I have loved for so long having a chance to expand this way. As long as it doesn't rock the boat.....and by boat, I mean ship.

btw, Mala, when do you leave?

I found a few new (well new to me) publicity pics of RDA at The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's 30th Anniversary benefit on Oct. 13, 2007. More information on the SSCS here: http://www.seashepherd.org/

    Capt. Paul Watson and RDA

The two Generals and supporters of SSCS, RDA and Beau Bridges greeting each other

Despite the fact that they're now using RDA/Jack to promote their big boxset in their web ads, they don't have a single wallpaper featuring him in their download section (check out 'The Gateroom' area for wallpapers, chat icons, screensavers, pictures). Of course, you can find one for each S9/S10 SG1 cast member and the SGA cast members as well, but none for RDA/Jack...

Anyway, I decided to make one for myself based on the design that they used for the other SG1 cast members. Enjoy!

Well, I have to say that I'm enjoying SGA more than I have in the past and I'll freely admit it's because I'm a fan of AT and Samantha Carter.

I'm leaving at the end of next week.

    Answers:
    1) Two more.

Thanks for the idea, ChopinGal! I decided to go through my caps again to see if I could find one
    Spoiler:
of Jack where he's smiling a bit more. Also, I knew I could make a better picture now, since I'd made that cap such a long time ago. Anyway, I have a new photo of Jack that I 'matted and framed' so it looks just like the one that Sam unpacked:

Sam's photo of Jack that she has by her bedside...

Excuse the repeating of posts, but I just want to express how much I enjoy the dignity and class of Mala's World!
