Season 4 OST idle speculation

Well, what do you all think? The break between 2.0 and 2.5 was "only" 4 months, so they could get away with waiting till 2.5 was over before releasing a season soundtrack. But this time, it's a very real possibility that we may have to wait a full year before 4.5 starts up.

I wonder, will be get a soundtrack release in the meantime?

Especially with Razor added and possibly an extra two hours on the finale, which will obviously involve loads of new music, there might not be enough room on one disc to get everything in! So yup, lets go all out on this season and have two.

And I don't think I could tolerate waiting that long for the new version of Roslin and Adama, the hybrid music from the beginning of the Hub, the Hub battle, and all the music from Revelations. Wow, between those two eps alone Bear McCreary could put out a great disc!

We'll have to wait till 2009 I reckon. As much as I love the musiv from the last episode, I don't think there's been enough new music throughout the whole season for them to bother with a soundtrack just yet. I can't wait til we do get one though.

I was just thinking about the Season 4 soundtrack. And I realized that the most annoying thing about splitting up season 4 would be that we don't get the soundtrack for the season + Razor until 2009 or possible 2010

I really want the song when they destroyed the hub and music from the end of the last episode. Actually out of all my composers I have, I think Bear is my favorite; maybe even more than John Williams.

I thought the same thing but season 1 lasted for 13 episodes. If we add Razor and the episodes aired so far there could be enough music for a decent OST. Yet, maybe it´s better to wait till next year because after hearing "Revelations" music I can´t help but wonder what kind of music awaits us in those final episodes.
