    Mother Ship or Ha'tak?

    this has been bugging me for a while. Ha'taks are called motherships by most of the peopleon the show. When we first encountered the ships, it made sense because it seemed like the goa'uld only had one or two. but since then we have fouind out that the goa'uld have entire fleets of ha'taks. so i really dont think they should call them all motherships any more, we have encountered tru motherships that some goa'uld have (apophis, anubis) a mother ship is a ship that is above the rest of the ships in its fleet. the ha'taks are not mother ships, just pwerful battle ships. any one elsde think they should stop calling every ha'tak a mothership?

            Maybe they still call Hat'aks 'Motherships' because they carry a large amount of support ships, equipment and Jaffa. In that sense they're still Motherships.

            O'NEILL: What?

            JACKSON: ZPM. He's Canadian.

              well yeah i guess they are mother ships in the sense of being the launching platform for death gliders, but i think that since there is a mothership class of ship beyond ha'tak that it is a little silly

                I think Lexx has a good point. To make everyone happy, we could just call Ha'taks motherships and then the Apophis/Anubis ships Grandmother ships.

                    Well, how about Great Motherships?

                      But that's not as cool as Grandmother ships. We could have Great-Grandmother ships though.

                          Well, first you have motherships (ha'taks), then you have the grandmother ships (mondo anubis/apophis things), and then great-grandmother ships (something even bigger. Maybe even great-great-grandmother ships.

                            Erhm...

                            Ha'tak = Mothership
                            Anubis' two ships, Sokar/Apophis big ship = Flagship.

                              Maybe 'Ha' means Mother and 'tak' means ship.

                              So maybe the next ship would be Ha'Ha'tak ship.
