    Default SG Team Weapons - Design your own team and equipment

    Well, P90s seems to be an old old gun, doesn't seem to be that great anymore. Stargate Atlantis needs new weapons. Its up to design a new type of SG team with new weapons. Make your own team:

    SG Team - Codenamed: Heavy Hitters
    - Standard SG Team that is great for going up against large amounts of wraith. Excellent to move in battlefield terrain and strike team advance into wraith facilities and ships:

    Weapons includes
    - AA12 Shotgun - Low Recoil - 20 Round Drum Magazine
    - Special extra rounds - Frag12 - Projectile HE High Explosive Round
    - Special extra round - Frag12 - Fragmented Gernade
    - AT4 AST - Anti Structure Tandem - Can be used in small spaces

    SG Team - Codenamed: Strikers
    Primary SG Team to conduct recon mission against all types of enemy. The team carries lighter, but more accurate weapons. Has enough firepower with low recoil type weapons.

    Weapons includes
    - The Kriss .45 Calibre Sub-Machine Gun (all members)

    No offense but that kit sucks, theres no medium and longrange firepower you can easily get pined down by jafa shooting a few hundred feet away if your just using shotguns. wtf is wrong with p-90's and they work better than fine and are very versatile.

    6 man Heavy weapons team:
    2x oicw, c4, claymore, 4 x frag
    2x m249 light machine gun, c4, grenade launcher
    2x p-90, Stinger anti air missle launchers, claymore's, x2 frags

    being a heavy weapons fireteam they arent that light and manuvorable but could hold a position from air, light armour and infantry for a long time.

    4 man recon team:
    3x p-90, c4, claymore, x2 frag
    1x sighted m4+m203 grenade launcher,x2 frag, claymore

    if needed switch the recon team to sniper rifles for long range kill and proper recon duties.
    if it wasnt for Carters new plot shield we would be dead

    lol if its standard four:
    ill take the sixpack grenade launcher[2x]
    traveller gun standard sidearm.
    2x p90 sized x-699[functional]
    the 2 guys with the grenade launchers have two p90-sized railguns aswell

    Well it got


    1 men (Me)

    3 women,
    they all got to be Scandinavians. long blond hair, medium to large tits. Dark blue eyes, and around 5,5 to 5,6 feet tall.

    Costume:
    Well skin tight leather out fit (aka super solder amour, but slightly tighter fitting so it shows of their figure, whole an it got to have a zip on the front to show their cleaverage )

    Weapons

    4x p90s
    grenades, rations, torch, a loads of c4, and well just enough ammo to take out hordes of wraith, but not enough to avoid hand to hand fighting, we just got to see the women hot and sweaty now. just so they can take of their helmets in slow motion.

    6 man SG team, primary roles backup, rescue, strike missions.

    1. 1x AA-12, 5 magazines 1x 9mm 2 magazines, 2x grenades
    2. same as last
    3. 1x P-90 4 magazines, 1 x zat 4x c4 pack, 2x grenades
    4. same as last
    5. 1x claymores, 2x , 5x c4 packs, 1x USP45CT 2 magazines
    6. 1x MP5 3 magazines, 4 grenades, 1x zat


    not sure about it so tell me what needs fixed.

    - 4x clips

    heavy gunner
    - 1x M60 50 round clip
    - 2x clips
    - 2x p90 (use like teal'c does)
    - 10 clips
    - 8x packs of C4 with 1 remote

    computer tech
    - 1x MP5
    - 5x clips
    - 1x high powered computer for hacking

    ** all team members would have
    - 1x kbar or similer
    - 1x long range radio

    I would have

    IBA (interceptor body armor) - Protection from energy and projectile weapons

    (leader Rifleman)MK16 SCAR (special operation force assault rifle) 6.8MM SPEC, for the fire power and range

    (grenadear)EGLEM Grenade launcher - for anti infantry tactics

    (heavy gunner)MK48 LMG - suppressive fire

    M110 - for a squad designated marksman

    (all teammates )M1911 or USP .45 Cal- gives our troops a powerful pistol to take dowh the wraith

    (gunner)AT4 Or SMAW - anti vehical use

    Blank MOLLE Vest (Modular Light weight Load Carrying Equipment) - that way this can modified for the mission, comes with MOLLE tact belt and drop leg holster

    A Med kit -obvious reasons

    MREs (Meal Ready to Eat) Sheppard and Mcaky always get hungry on a mission

    Camo to fit the mission - woodland for forest, DCU for Desert, OD or Ranger green for general areas with foliage, Black for urban terrain,

    NVGs (night vision goggles) - tams tend to spend the night

    KRYPTO Radios (encripted for secure communications)

    5.11 tactical boots - I've fielded these very effective in terrain

    Cammelbak - so the team ca stay hydrated, carry more gear

    Oakley M-Frame sunglasses - give ballistic and UV protection for the eyes

    K-bar/Tanto/folding knives- general use

    Gerber multi tool- utility use

    if the sg-teams would to get a new gun, i think it should either a SCAR in 7.62 or a HK 417 (7.62 verson of the hk 416)


    i think a 7.62 would be nice because it has more stopping power then the 5.7 or the 5.56, it also has decent armor penetrating power (please do not get stopping power and armor penetrating power confused, ive heard of US trooper shooting an insurgent with 5.56 and the insurgent just keeps going...the bullet got through but it was so small and fine that the guy didnt even notice it with all his adrenaline)...so 7.62 would be good for taking down a wraith and it is an overall good round with decent range (it is used in sniper rifles like the m24 which have very nice range)...

    Agreed, the 5.56 just doesn't cut it when fighting self-healing space vampires.
    But on the other hand, exploration teams don't want to be carrying around heavy equipment, which as what makes the P90 so appealing. I think one person in an exploration/diplomatic team using a HK417 would be fine, and the rest use P90's. But, combat teams should get all heavy weapons.

    i know this is old but thought id add my bit for anybody reading...

    the first problem is that you have to many weapons using different ammo. 5.7mm, 9mm, .45acp, and 12 gauge shotgun shells. what that means is that the only ammo a person has is that which he carries himself and so is limited. if the whole team used weapons firing the same round, 5.56 nato for example then if for whatever reason one person has used more then the rest the ammo can be shared out.

    for example, if you want a member to have a shotgun but the rest used m16/m4 for eample, then the soldier could carry the m4 with severalmags but at the same time still carry the shotgun with high ammo. once the shotgun ammo is out the remaining team members can share out their ammo with him.
