This little poem I write from the heart,
having been with Stargate since the start.
From the time of Ra, Daniel and Jack,
to Sam and Teal'c and wise Master Bra'tac.
The allies they made and the enemies they fooled,
fighting the Replicators and politics the evil Goa'uld.
Ancients made the gates they soon learned it's true,
chasing legends and myths and poor Jack having no clue.
Soon enough Atlantis was found in the ocean far below ground.
Many brave souls went to that town and there they nearly did drown.
Threat after threat SG-1 faced and soon enough to Atlantis they raced.
"Wraith are coming!" shouted Dr. Mckay as Ronin shoved him out of the way.
What of the others in the big city do they deserve praise or maybe just pity.
Parasites, bugs and lots of strage goo I sure like this show what about you?
"Kind of like Halo" my cousin once said of Stargate SG-1 way back in the day.
That's pretty cool I thought as we saw Teal'c Zatting Jaffa clearing the way.
This shall be my final post on this pretty cool forum of this wicked cool show.
It is escape that it offers from the real world of clowns and shoveling snow.
I shall end now with some words of a funny man who was many times dead...
I like potatoes and Jack said to me, "I told them to make french fries instead."
