Don't forget there's a strong implication that there's a time variation between the island and the outside world. This could explain a) why Walt is older (in show terms, of course we know why he looks older) and b) Kate could have gotten pregnant and had the kid on the island. I'm not saying she did, I'm just saying for their cover story it would help if the outside world thought they were missing longer than the group experienced on the island. Also consider that we have no idea when they actually get off the island. Sure on the show right now it seems like they could get rescued soon, but we don't know if the boat is even what gets them rescued to lead to the events of the flash forwards.
The cover story seems to be intended to prevent people from looking for move survivors, presumably to protect anyone remaining on the island."For now, you are in need of food and rest, and I am in need of armor"

One thing is bugging me. Jack does not want to see the baby. Is this because:
1. He still believes that the baby is Sawyer's and that would be like a slap in the face?
2. He found out that Claire is his sister and she dies some sort of traumatic death and Jack does not want to be reminded of her.

There's a strong theme of "survivor's guilt" going on in the show right now. Hurley seems to have been the first to be really hit with it, seeing Charlie with his 'they need you' message. The visit from creepy guy asking if "they" are still alive, likely either a reference to the team he sent, or to the other survivors. We know Jack eventually breaks down and wants to go back. Sayid is working to "protect his friends".
I think there's a strong implication that there are people still on the island, and they don't want people to think they're alive, and by extension be looking for them."For now, you are in need of food and rest, and I am in need of armor"

This one definitely took place before that one.

I was somewhere loud when it aired... thought she said "Eric" at the end, and I'm thinking, so what? And how did she and Jack get a blond baby? LOL Aaron makes much more sense.
That said, Claire might not necessarily have to be dead. She could be on the island still, being experimented on or something. Maybe Kate taking the baby has to do with this elaborate story they've concocted about Kate being their saviour in order to keep her out of jail. Something really bad goes down at escape time for sure.sigpic

I am guesting somone (ben) perhaps is forcing them keep their cover story.
And I do not think syid is one of the offical six either. So think their three more to reveal.
But I did fine miles asking for money.
I got feeling Lock will not survive the season, he gonna be killed by ben, just a feeling I have.
But I thank goodness that they gave us a question and answer to that question in the same episode, that gotta be a first for lost.
I interested in where these flashforwards are gonna leading up to or what their purpose. They so far seem all be unconnected, and I am not sure where they gonna leave us.
