I hate the way they're tryin to forget she's a member of SG-1 now, first on the boxset picture and now in these, I hope there's atleast one shot of the ENTIRE SG-1.

Ok, I have no idea what's wrong with you or how on earth you could possibly take what I said above offensively but I actually complimented the 'new' SG1 and by the whole cast, meant everyone featured in the photos (didn't think I'd have to spell that out, but looks like I obviously do for you )...notice I did not say the lead cast. I quite obviously didn't mean the entire cast of SG1 as Landry's not in these photo's either. If you're upset that Vala was not featured, fair enough, but don't take it out on the others who like the photos. And the fact that you couldn't even say anything nice about your fav ('new') SG1 photos because one character isn't featured says more about you than me IMO.

I disagree, that does not show that Vala makes the show for madaboutdanny, just simply Vala is an official member of SG-1, it was built upto her being a fully fledged member in season 10 so she should be there.

Let's not forget that these aren't the only promo pics for the movie. Didn't the OP (original poster) say that this is just a little preview? As for what Nikki said, I don't think she meant the "entire SG-1 cast" when she said "entire cast." I think she was talking about everyone who was in the pic (meaning the cast that was pictured) looks great. Or something to that effect anyway.

Vala will probably show up in some of the other promo photos. Until then I'm not going to jump to conclusions that she won't be pictured at all. From the spoilers I've read, she's going to play a big part in the movie, so it would be wrong not to picture her at all.

(and this is probably just me, but I think a pic of her with Tomin would make a nice addition, seeing as how he's supposed to be in the movie too.)

That said... I quite like the pics myself (and that has nothing to do with Vala not being there), especially that they don't seem heavily airbrushed like the S10 pics were. They remind me of the promo photos for S7. Very nicely done.

Well, why jump to the extreme and assume that Nikki doesn't like new SG-1? Why go that far? Here's your exact quote:

Why not just say, "well, that really isn't the whole cast..." or something along those lines? Making an assumption that Nikki dislikes the "new" SG-1 kinda makes me think that Vala not being in the pic ticks you off (for lack of a more appropiate word). So, just be more polite in what you say, and I really won't assume anything about your personal preferences. The way you worded your statement really points out to me that Vala is an extremely important character to you, more than the other cast members (except Danny). But, if you weren't offended by Nikki's former statement, then my apologies for commenting. But again, don't be too hard on Nikki for making a mistake. And, again, it's MGM's fault for disrespecting not Vala, but Claudia Black and all of her hard effort on SG-1 by not putting her in the S10 dvd cover and the promo pics.

NOW, to my former question: Where'd you find the pics, Andreas?

The pictures are indeed really great. But not having Vala pictured is definitely an injustice to what Claudia Black has brought to SG-1. I just don't understand it.

Well remember we have to consider when the photos were taken:

Claudia could be heavily pregnant when the photos were scheduled to be taken. I remember reading when Claudia was at comiccon she requested fans not to ask for photos taken with her as she was heavily pregnant and she does not want such photos.

Also remember Andreas said there are more to come.

I would just like to say with so many crappy stuff out on tv it is nice that we get to see great promo pictures promoting a show we all love.

Basically that's what we need to remember, we all love this incredible show called Stargate SG1.
