Of course, just because we have been told that Weir is no more doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. So perhaps this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Doctor Weir after all. And anyway, what’s the old saying? No one every really dies in science fiction…

“That’s the thing with sci fi, right?” Higginson laughs. “In television, you can do whatever you want and sci fi definitely opens that up a lot more. There are many leaps of logic that you can jump and have fun with. So I think the opportunity is always there - but they haven’t talked to me at all about it, so I have no sense of it whatsoever. But we’ll see.”

“James [Lafazanos] decided to go on and do other things,” explains Heyerdahl of the original actor behind the Wraith make-up, “and they wanted to see what different direction they could take with the Wraith. With James stepping away, they said, ‘Okay, what can we do with this guy?’ They approached myself and another guy to basically step in and take the job, so that when I wasn’t available he could do it and when he wasn’t available, I could do it.”

Heyerdahl reports that with the opportunity to play the Wraith came the chance to show something a little different to the predator viewers had come to know.

Not really news, but the MGM site has the US flag backwards on Keller. I've sent a few emails, but no one has fixed it yet. Seriously, they seem to have alot of graphic design goofs. Its getting old and for a company like MGM, there is no excuse.

Well, considering they sent out emails misspelling Weir's name.... it's not just the graphic design.

Well I'm pretty sure it was MGM who sent out the unfinished copy of the S4 premier (that ended up being leaked online) in the press kits for S4.

It may have been NBC, but I'm pretty sure it was MGM. Either way, it came in an official press kit.

sigh.

I would have been fired if I ever did anything like that. And don't forget when they put up the raw interview of Hewlett and it spilled some big S3 secrets.

Metro, Goldwyn and Mayer must be rolling in their graves!!!

It's not a mistake, that is the way US forces wear the flag on their right sleeve. It is supposed to be as if the flag is flying in the breeze as the person moves forward hence some people thinking it is backward.

Yes, she is civilian.

I asked Carl Binder on Joe's blog several weeks ago, and Carl replied that Keller is a civilian. The MGM bio says that Keller is a civilian, and so does the SciFi Channel bio.

Besides, everyone is missing the blinding obvious about the backwards flag on Keller's shoulder.

The photo of Keller has been REVERSED to have Keller facing to the right to "blend" into the photo.'

If you flip the photo, the flag is on the RIGHT shoulder (and NOT the left as it is in the photo), and the flag is is presented the correct fashion.

However, I've seen photos of US forces in Iraq with the flag in the reverse direction...so what the heck?

The fact is that MGM has let lots of mistakes slip through on their PUBLICITY material, which isn't very good. And SciFi isn't much better. They spelled Ronon and Sheppard wrong in some of their TV ads.
