Guest Star Returns

Season four’s second half will kick off in January with the return of a popular guest star. Mitch Pileggi reprises his role as the caustic Colonel Steven Caldwell, commander of the Earth battlecruiser, Daedalus.

Caldwell was originally introduced in season two, to stir things up for the Atlantis crew and provide a little extra conflict for the characters. However, Pileggi’s other work commitments (amongst others, he provides the voice of Commissioner Gordon in Warner Bros. Batman: The Animated Series) meant that season three’s “Echoes” was, until now, the last time viewers saw the straight-laced Colonel. Now though, he will appear alongside Colonel Abe Ellis (played by actor Michael Beach) in the climactic “Be All My Sins Remember’d.”

Another new experience for Doctor Lee was setting foot on an alien planet, something he’s never had an opportunity to do before – but to which, in Dow’s opinion, he has always aspired.

Dr. Lee has been offworld before, hasn't he? His first appearance. Prodigy. And then Paradise Lost.

I don't remember what he did in Prodigy but we certainly saw Dr. Lee on that planet in PL

I think those darts were flying over Asuras, not Atlantis. I think it's a flashback to BAMSR.
