    Exclusive Interview with Paul McGillion (Dr. Carson Beckett)

    Stargate-Project got the chance to interview Stargate Atlantis actor
    Paul McGillion who plays Dr.Carson Beckett. In the interview he talks
    about his fellow castmembers, the current episode he is working on and

    1. So the guy who plays Dr Beckett is actually Scottish! Cool.

    But on the other hand he's still part of the 'Vancouver set' and according to him has lost his RL Scottish accent. Not so cool - but I'm not going to complain too much.

      Just finished reading it. Great interview. It gave more insight in to Paul and his charcter.

      I'm glad that some shows let the actor have some say into his charcter.

              I totally agree. I had a good chuckle when I read them. I also like his comparison between himself and Dr. Beckett.

                    Well as he said he was Born in Paisley in Scotland, but he grew up in Canada. He possibly stayed in Scotland only at a young age, like until 5, enough time so he would be speaking Scottish and then when he moved to Canada, the Canadian accent stuck in, but because he's from Scotland he could easily do the aussie accent.
