when did the Ancient's become the jedi?

reason why i say this because in the episode the quest part 2 when denial asorbed merlins memories and gained his Ancient ability and when he and the orais where fighting it was kinda like the fight with yoda and the emperor palpatine when the emperor uesed the force to shoot energy to kill yoda but yoda ues kinds like a hand shields to asorbed/deflected the energy
so can anyone tell how this happened?

Actually, the Ancients have had superpowers for a very long time. We've seen pre-Ascended superpowers as far back as in "Frozen" (season 6).

The OP should L2chronology noob. The ancient jedi-ish powers first appeared b4 the recent SW movies. The steenkin jedi ripped them off.

You never hear Ancients shouting for the other to "Use the evolution!"
