    Hullo folks,

I have been mightily impressed by the work people have put into their customs in this thread, and the larger 12 inch scale figures are frighteningly good! Moony, Jersey and especially you Blues, all of you stick all in my mind in this regard especially. However, as a 7 inch collector there is one character I am still hopping mad we did not officially get, and I am pleased to present my finally completed version of him alongside the other 7 inch characters.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I at last, present Doctor Carson Beckett! Picture 4 also shows Professor E Weir and Major Laura Cadman I did quite a while ago...

Converting a human body into energy and sending it millions of light years through a wormhole. Bloody insanity!
Come on, how often do you get the chance to go to an alien planet?

I was a'ready on an alien planet!

Ah, that's the £64,000 question Timespirit! If you are asking where I got a suitable head to boil and pop - I didn't!

I took pictures all through the construction process, and intend to set up a "How to a make" Thread soon with links to the pics in my flickr account once they are uploaded. Feel free to guess in the meantime. I am just hoping I have caught the "essence" of the character in the likeness. It was tough going at times.

Well, I think you did a great job catching his look!

I'll be loking for your update on this then.

Have you noticed if anyone has made a 12" Rodney action figure or a place to get 12" Action Bodies (not ebay or at least if Ebay sellers in the US) in the US?

Could you tell me where you bought the action figure stands by any chance? Are they a tight hold?

                                Thanks, guys!

JediKnutt, you're welcome to use any of these recipes. I'm an Admin over at BtVSFigs Forum, and our philosophy is always to share recipes and tips freely. It improves everyone's inspiration and expertise. We just give a simple acknowledgement to whoever came up with the recipe, the first time we use it (i.e. Thanks to x for the head recipe), but not after that.

I have a "How To" thread on my website, if you'd like more tips. And in the same section there are step-by-step guides to sculpting and painting, plus using lights and scenic water:

                                http://www.sashacustoms.co.uk/home/about/how-to

Timespirt, the simple black stands came with NECA Harry Potter figures. Where necessary, I drilled a small hole in the right heel of the figure to match the size of the stand peg. They are very steady and don't fall over. I find it best to always provide a stand with any figure that has sculpting clay on it, to avoid any breakages.
