Christopher Judge in new stargate series: "Teal'c PI"

Christopher Judge will be appearing in a new spin off "Teal'c PI", here's what he had to say:


"After we filmed Unending, I got talking with Robert and I joked about how I would be out of work now and how it was too bad I couldn't do Teal'c PI and he looked at me and said "why not?". After that we got talking with MGM and convinced them to do let us do a pilot which we just finished filming. I don't know when it will be released, or even if it will be. We haven't got a deal with a channel yet, though we're hopeful Sci-Fi will pick us. It will be an outright comedy, and shouldn't be included the stargate "canon". Assuming all goes to plan it should be released on 1st april 2008. The clip in the 200 and the pilot has been just as good, hopefully the network won't change too much" ---- Interview with APFJ

Wow this is a lame April Fools Day joke.

I was hoping Gateworld would do a joke on the front page saying that Atlantis and the third series were canceled. Now that would have been funny.

Darren is deeply against April Fools jokes, as explained in last year's blog entry. Here's a snippet:

That's a good idea, those are the best "jokes". The could have made a fake front page dealing with how Gateworld would now be about BSG, I know how much SG fans would love that. Remember the craziness of when BSG had one damn feature. Freaks were shown.

I'd prefer the obvious April 1st joke. A headline revealing obviously wrong spoilers like Teal'c gives birth!! or 101 uses for Teal'c pouch now that he doesn't have junior.
