Default Sg-1 is over, now what will you remember most

I have created this as a place to talk about what part or parts of SG-1 will will remember or miss the most as well as which characters will live fondly in our memories.
    A few rules though
    1. Friendly discussion please, this is not a pro or anti thread just a general what we will miss, or fondly remember.
2.Respect all other posters and respect the actors that play the parts.
    3. If you post about an ep that has not aired please use spoilers.
    4. Have fun reminiscing.

This might sound corny but my fondest memory will simply be the first time Sam and Jack admitied their true feelings for each other. I always have loved that. Another I will fondly remember is the chemistry between Sam and her father in seasons 2-8.

All of it. But that's just me. Mostly the team interactions of the earlier years. Back when the Goa'uld were the big baddies and the Ancients were a mysery to us. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like knowing all what we know now and the Ori/Wraith etc but there was a certain charm associated with not knowing about those other races, anyone else agree?

The following is something I posted in the Sam/Jack thread, but I think most of it applies to everyone:

Just a little love letter to Stargate.

    Dear Stargate SG-1,

Although I only started watching you almost two years ago, I've seen all 213 episodes that have aired. And I think I love you.

You are so much more than sci-fi. Although I can always treasure a good watching of Star Wars, you've always had something more. Maybe it was your weekly episodes, and between seasons, guessing and spoiling ourselves on your next episodes.

The real reason I love you Stargate, is because of your characters. I would have stopped watching you a long time ago if Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c hadn't had the chemistry that they do. You, Stargate, balanced their deep friendship with humor, action, mystery, suspense, and romance.

Ah, Stargate. What a wonderful job you did providing me with romance. You gave me Jack. You gave me Sam. You put them together, creating the most powerful and most spectacular love story. Their chemistry is amazing and has always worked well with the plot. You're such a genius, always balancing their relationship with the storyline and the other characters. I love you Stargate.

You, Stargate, are not about fighting aliens, or blowing up suns. You're about the characters. Amazing, complex, deep, funny, smart, witty, strong, CHARACTERS. And their relationships.

You, Stargate, are the real deal.

So now, I bid you adieu, with a legacy of ten amazing seasons of episodes. Characters have died, characters have joined the team, characters have moved away, baddies have died, and more baddies have came. But you, Stargate, are still as amazing as ever. I think I love you.

So, thank you Stargate, for ten SPECTACULAR, AMAZING years. You will be fantastic in the future, whenever that may be.

    Love,
    Hannah

Stargate SG-1 has meant so much to my life. As corny as it sounds, SG-1 and the entire Stargate franchise have been an inspiration to me, and have inspired me to better my life in everything from school to work to personal matters.

Thank you SG-1. You will be missed.

Daniel Re: Sg-1 is over, now what will you remember most

All Bad Ass Mother ****ers. I mean theres the Ba'al, Anubis, Replciators, other Goa'ulds. I will miss all the evil villans that were so damn powerful but now are nothing. I miss being the underdogs always and I mean always. I will miss the "Hey OH'S" of when something happens that just isn't exceptected. I mean when thor beams down and shuts down Kinsey when there telling the other nations about the stargate that was my favorite moment. It went something like this

Thor:I am Supreme Commander Thor of the Asgard Fleet
    Kinsey: Commander Thor...
Thor: (Raises finger) Supreme Commander Thor
Then Kinsey just gets shut down
And back at my house I was like "Hey OH. Oh my god. hell yes. **** yes. I hate you Kinsey *****. Thor you're a total Bad Ass."

That's waht I'll miss and remember the most

The thing I will probably remember most is when I watched unending. Just because I watched everything till season 9 on tv with 1 episode each day. Then I watched everything till dominion in 3 days .
    anyway, spoiler for unending:

There are two overwhelming things that I'll remember most from the show. They're not specific instances, more general themes, but they are both my favourites. The friendship and interaction between Daniel and Jack, the series was certainly poorer for the lack of that in the last couple of seasons, and the same between Daniel and Vala.

Both dynamics had a great chemistry with each other, and I really cared for them.
