The Missing Pre Airing Discussion/speculation (Spoilers)

    New episode then???

    From JM's Blog
Peter writes: “If you were to assign one word for each episode in the first half of Season 4 of Atlantis […] what would they be?

Answer: Adrift (desperation), Lifeline (gamble), Reunion (roots), Travelers (rivalry), Missing (missing).

Oh boy. Something tells me this is going to lead to a lot of misunderstandings on the forum.

It's like naming an episode "Unknown" or something.

lol, And I’d hazarded a guess that it will either come before or after Doublegangger. I’m going for the later .

          ^ lol, thats just gold!

I'm wondering whether it could have something to do with this line in the poem JM wrote on his blog:
"A strange disappearance feeds another’s dark turn."

But it's really hard to speculate at this point!

It is hard to speculate, I agree - but it is a lot of fun! I was wondering if Weir disappears and Sheppard goes all dark because of it? Or maybe someone else does?

I wondered that too. It seems the most likely explanation. Of course it could be something entirely different, but we do know Weir is involved in an arc in season 4.

With what’s been going on, Weir certainly seems the most obvious candidate. Maybe the new race has some involvement to? My guess would be either Sheppard or McKay who will go all dark. Maybe the reason for Carter stepping into cover, as Sheppard will more likely refuses to take over, as he'd rather join the search.

I think the correct words pointed out to us, was that Weir is a significant player in the story arc.

I think Teyla does have a story arc to play in this though.

                      Just an idle thought

"A strange dissappearance feeds another's dark turn"

Maybe Weir goes missing and this is what kick-starts the Teyla arc, since we're supposed to see a darker side of her.

I like that idea. Maybe she feels guilty if she had the chance to stop it.

Well the way the writers treat the charaters on the show I'm guessing that a charaterwill go missing and be "killed off".

                              Yep, those poor fictional characters!
