I had one of those "Wait, this feels familiarish" moments earler.

One of my wee piano pupils turned to me and said, "Are you Indian?"
And I gave her a look and said, "Yes, of the line of red-headed Indians..." (I'm as red-headed and pale as they come!)

And I remembered Rodney's "Yes, of the Barcelona Mackays!" in 'Grace Under Pressure'...

First know: my best friend and I are religious Stargate watchers.
Some friends and I were in a bar last weekend and were talking about all kind of stuff. It didn't really intrest my and I wanted to talk to my best friend about something else (yes i'm an arse I know, but haven't we all had this moment?). So I go "hey Rob.." but he is really concentrated on the story one of the others is telling.
    So I continue.. "Rob... Buddy"
    Still, he doesn't listen!
    I go "Kree!"
My friends looks up at me.
I go "you heard me... I said Kree!"

Thats about my Stargate moment from last weekend...

You actually said kree? That's funny.

I was talking a friend online and I forget what I said to him but he responded by saying "indeed." So I was like "what are you Teal'c?" and he was like "Wha?" XD It was even funnier because he's black.

Like I said, my friend and I are religious watchers... We reference to Stargate almost every time we are together are in a certain situation.

My family was watching TV and some show was on. These guys were saying they really didn't go to church on Sunday. And this lady said, "Today is his day, and he will strike down the blasphemers with bloody vengeance!" or something along the lines of that. I started laughing and said, "She sounds like a Prior!"

Ever have a Stargate moment? All the time!! Someone will say something and it'll start us off quoting the show. It happens with other shows or movies too, especially Star Wars or Rocky Horror.

I am forever annoying the hubby when we watch TV and all of a sudden I'll blurt out "oh they've been on Stargate" and I can usually name the episode too.

When you love something you'll find reminders everywhere!

Two days ago on the side of a tow truck there was the following "MCKAY & FORD TOWING" Made me think on reflex of Atlantis and wonder "where'd they ditch the jumper?'
This is the story about a Sad Flute, a laughin' baby, and a weepin' sword

I was bored and watching one of those TV shows on Disney Channel when I saw what looked like a Stargate. Only it was a portal to Mars.

I had a Stargate moment today, as a matter of fact! I was watching an episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and suddenly a very familiar actor came onscreen. I don't actually know his real name, so I referred to him by the one I DO know his face by: Brae'tac!

I pointed at the screen and told my sister, "Hey, it's Brae'tac! ...In a Hawaiian-print shirt! XD" She knew exactly who I was talking about (her being a Stargate fan and watcher, too) and found it equally amusing to see him in such casual Earth-style attire. The different accent he was doing didn't fool us...he was still Brae'tac incarnate, LOL.

Same thing happened to me. My brother was watching it, and we saw him. I was thinking, he looks familiar. Then I think my brother said "hey, that's whats-his-name from Stargate!" and I said "Bra'tac!"

There's this scene in Doctor Who. It keeps reminding me of the stargate, not to mention the abridged version of the episode on fiveminute.net actually mentions Stargate. Here's an image macro I made of the scene.

I just realized, you could also do Supergate instead of Stargate.

Here is my stargate moment. A few days ago I was talking about something a Homeland Security office was doing but instead of saying Homeland Security I said Homeworld Security.

    God is the original transporter.

Acts 8:39b-40a: The Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Phillip away and the official did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. Philip, however, appeared at Azotus (an old city in ancient Israel) and traveled about.

He is also the author of love and justice:

    Spoiler:
Romans 5:8: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 14:6: Jesus (Christ) answered: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Oh! There's this cricket ground or something here, called the SCG. No clue what the S stands for but I'm pretty sure CG stands for Cricket Ground.

LOL when you're really into a fandom, you find reminders of it in your everyday life. I find it especially fun when I see street signs with names of characters on them, like Todd and McKay.

My friend and I are huge Stargate fans, and we often joke around about it at lunch. She's a good drawer, and she said she was going to make a comic of Jack and Daniel. Jack would shoot Daniel, and they'd see how fast the Ancients would Ascend him and send him back. "Six seconds, new record!"
