I have the Wraith male, I like the figure, it is nice and detailed, though I wonder why they did not sculpt a feeding organ in his palm as that would have been a nice touch, no pun intended, the figure's hair however is amazing. I have considered getting the entire set so I can display them in front of the stargate model you can build from the pieces that come with the figures, but I have not decided yet.

I too have recently been in correspondence with DST in relation to their poor showing on the collectables for this franchise and they reiterate it is not their intention to release any other figures in this line, even with the extensive list of character omissions I provided them with I believe a partition to the company may be our best chance of having them revisit this issue. Even though I have the full set currently available I want more !!! and some quality ship models would be great to, bigger than a matchbox toy though say 1/72 or 1/32 scale. I can't believe with all the continued interest in these items that they are not even entertaining the issue. I mean Ronon Dex figures are selling for US$200 on ebay at the moment and are virtually impossible to get. Where is their reasoning there is no market if fans are prepared to pay that sort of price for a $15.00 item? Thoughts on the partition? or perhaps we could start a fan bombardment of the DST site demanding further releases !!

NextGenToys.com is the last bastion of the Ronon Dex action figure currently $199.00. They occasionally come up on Ebay.

I can see why you would want them, I have recently gotten into these figures and now have the complete SGA collection. You had better be quick though if you really want them as they are getting hard to get and some will cost a fortune compared to the original recomendd retail price. For you in Europe, Vision Toys is a good value site.

Further to my previous post - should I try Amazon.com? or is there some where better? or even if there's any Aussies here that can point me to a store I can go pop into - would be even better. Any help is appreciated

There is no Carson Figures from DST but you can get advice on the modeller links on how to build one from a couple of figures if you are that talented. (Forum,Stargate SG-1, SG-1 Merchandise, A Thread For Custom Figures)
Here is a link to my current E bay offer of the complete SGA DST figure set four of these figures are very hard to get, hence expensive. There are also two case topper figures of daniel and jack from the SGA series.

From my experience there are very few stores in Australia that even carry these any more, and the ones that do are online stores and have very limited selection. I bought my Ronon Dex figures from Canada and they cost me $124 and $199 and $250. Steve the Wraiths go from $70 to 180 depending on where you can get them from, my last Rodney Mackay cost me $79 and the Teyla PX ranges from $80 to $170. There is one on-line store from the US but the prices are outrageous. Plus on top of these prices you are looking at postage of around $30 per figure from the US and $45 per figure from Canada and about $18 per figure from UK based on my experience and purchase history. Europe will not usually ship to Aust for some unknown reason.
Pheonix toys make 3 inch figures of SGA and SG1 from pewter and the detail of these is excellent, I just bought the full set from a dealer in the UK on Ebay called cold war miniatures and they were about $14 each postage for the full set of 16 figures was 35 pounds. Try bibyco.com.au they have some of the figures.

Wow, well I don't think I can afford to pay that. I don't really want all of them, just a normal Rodney, Special Ops Shep, normal Teyla & normal Weir & maybe a Wraith. I don't care for the Stargate portal as it seems you need the lot for that, but I just can't afford it. If I won lotto, id buy the lot off you in a heart beat, but alas it is not so. I really want normal Rodney & Sp Ops Shep (or just normal Shep if need be), but definitely normal Rodney at least.
But thanks for the help, I'll keep looking. I've just come back from my Europe trip & am low on money atm.

I can help you out with a Wraith Drone, Shepard (not garrison uniform),Athosian Teyla, and I also have extra Col Sam Carters, the cost would be what they cost me ( would have to check receipts) if you want any. Dr Weirs are common and as cheap as $10 on some sites. Aslo try Popcultcha.com in Aust (AVENGER25 is a discount code for 10 % off) for some figures they sometimes have some. Good luck with your Rodney Mackay search.
