What happened to him? Where is he now? What's his name? (on close inspection of his name badge it seems his name is Jemond, but it isn't very clear and I couldn't find a mention of a "Jemond" in the Omnipedia so I'm assuming I got it wrong)

I think that's Daniel Bacon. According to his IMDB entry, he's going to be playing a Doctor Watson in the upcoming episode Sunday on SGA.

Yes I remember "black Walter", however he doesn't look like a black guy in that picture, he actually looks white.

He was abducted by robo-Frasier upon Dr Frasier's return to the SGC as an evil, alien robot from the year 2087. The last time he is seen is when the Gate Room is evacuated but the blast doors close just before he makes it and we see robo-Frasier slowly approaching behind him.

I remember him. I named him Wylie, back before I knew that was RDA's daughter's name.

I think Walter ate him, as he's eaten most of the other gate techies. It explains why you don't see them any more and a diet of human flesh can have some strange side effects, which could be why Wally's developed some odd abilities.
