The Asurans- what would they do if they encountered the Replicators

Suppose the Asurans encountered a group of Replicator bugs lead by a Humanoid Replicator, what would the Asurans do?

Would they sense that the Replicators are similar to them in terms of design and merely incorperate and upgrade the Replicators or would they destroy them, seeing them as technological inferior versions of themselves?

Personally, I think that the Asurans would incorperate the Replicators for their knowledge of the Universe. Yes the Asurans could already have knowledge of other galaxies which they've stolen from the Ancients or the Atlantis team (Progeny) but the Replicators information is possibly a little more advanced, as they were in at least three Galacies up until recently (, Fair Game[Ida], Enemies [Unknown Galaxy] ,Gemini [MW]).

The Asurians, would for lack for a better world, Assimilate them. Replicators incorporate any technology into them, and they use what they can get their hands on to improve themselves and this is what would happen with the Asurians. Even human form replicators are concerned with the bug versions replicating but I do think that they'd also want the advanced technology and try to get it by force (not like the asurians would just upgrade them).

The Replicators are build up of blocks, the Asurians however are make up of nano machines and because of this, the Asurians wouldn't be assimilated so easily. Instead, the Asurians would be able to completely absorb all their knowledge and because the Replicators are cheap taiwanese knockoffs when compared to the Asurians, the Replicators wouldn't stand a chance.

Since the Asuran race pretty much an offshoot of the Ancients, they would use their knowledge to obliterate the replicators if they somehow became a threat in pegasus. I don't think, that the replicators (from SG1) exist anymore at this point.

If we were to imagine, let's say a replicator cruiser fighting against an Asuran warship, the replicators would penetrate their shields with replicator blocks. Then the ship would be boarded, and the Asurans would be screwed.
However, back in some episode of SG-1, O'Neill made the disruptor wave weapon to fight the replicators. The Asurans could easily dig up the technology because they are smarter...

But, so far we don't really know the full capabilities of the Asurans, other than that they retain a lot of Ancient knowledge and technology.

I don't think it's that easy.

As nanites, the Asurians have a massive advantage by that alone. In theory, they could probably disrupt the Replicator blocks at a cellular level as well, but just in a different way. Daniel was able to control the Replicators to a certain extent during Reckoning and I think that more advanced machines would be able to easily hack the Replicators and take control.

I think the Asurans and the replicators can be comparedto people and bugs for the most part. (yes i know the replicators had human shaped forms-whatever) The Asurans are advanced aka 'people' the replicators less so aka 'bugs'.

Since the Asurans can crack their own basecode and make themselves be able to fight the Ancients... I think they could probably hack into the Replicator network and make the Replicators part of the Asurans. aka "assimilation"...

The replicators live to absorb technology. They'd probably want to overrun Asuras and assimilate their technlogy, what with all of the human form replicators gone.

If there was a human form replicator around, they might be able to be reasoned with.

If not, they'll attack and then the Asurans will either have to destroy them or hack their systems (I doubt they can control them becuse they are of different kinds).

Afterall, if Sam can hack into Ori ship computers with AlienWare laptops, and McKay can hack into Ancients computers with Dell laptops... why not Asurans hacking into Replicator networks?

The replicators where trying to download all the ascended knowledge in Daniels brain, not just ancient knowledge, that knowledge far exceeds that of just the Asurans ancient knowledge.

I think the Asurans would be able to detect the Replicators before they got around them and, with the Ancient Knowledge the have, take over the Replicators, like Daniel Jackson did with Replicator Carter. If the Asurans do have the knowlegde, which I assume they do, they would be able to take over the bug replicators with ease.

the asurans are just robots, with alot of naites for their make-up but the bugs are more faster and can over run the asurans if they so happen to gate into their atlantis, which the asurans would just use their ancient guns and those replicators are immune to any energy weapons fired at them, except the discruptor

The replicators can also adjust themselves to be immune to the disruptor, the asurans would have to take them all out at once and I don't think they'll be able to do that. Essentially if they used a dakara type device it should wipe them out aswell, so that options out. The replictor numbers will continue to grow and grow eventually over running the Asurans whilst incorporating any ancient tech they find along the way.

It has not been confirmed that the Asurans are the same kind of Replicators as the old ones (ie. with Kuron pathways); a Dakara-type weapon might not even affect them.

SG1 used ancient tech to destroy the bugs. the Asurans have and understand most all of the ancient tech. Asurans would destroy the bugs.

I don't think the Asurans would do anything. They kept to themselves up until they found out Atlantis was still around. Now I don't know about the Replicators. If they're desperate, they'll probably try to replicate off of Asuras. IF not, then they'll probably see them as some distant cousin. Either way, the Replicators live off of the best tech available. If they did ally with the Asurans, then the Replicators would probably be allowed to replicate off of Atlantis.

i think they would fight at first but as they would not be able to destoy each other they would finaly become allies .
the asurans would see the benefit of having the bugs around as they could change to take any form (power source's ships ect) and the replicators would like the knowledge the asurans posses and the ability to recreate more of them selves without having to rely on nutronium to do it .
all in all they would become the most powerfull race out there (not even the ori would have a chance against them ).

plus the human form replicators dont have the violent tendancies the asurans do giving them the chance to acend .a lot of the asurans would want that
