I've design a piece of spatial artillery.
Mark-one solid spatial artillery
12.5 meters tall
34 meters tall (with 2 magazines/out-riggers)
59.5 meters long (without cannons)
98.5 meters long (with cannons)
15.5 meters wide
46 meter wide (with 2 out-riggers/magazines
9 forward facing 1500mm cannons
2 50mm point defense guns
1 engine
4 out-rigger fine-control engines
magazine (2 magazines)
9 rounds across
15 rounds deep
7 rounds tall
945 rounds total
105 9 shots
5 mt per round
45 MT per 9 shot
4725 MT total firepower
Which seems like a good rate of fire, 30-rounds a second, 60 rounds a second, or something else?
2 seconds per shot
18 seconds per 9 shot
1890 seconds to emtpy clip or
31.5 minutes
1 second per shot
9 secomds per 9 shot
945 seconds to empty clip or
15.75 minutes
I have currently have two magazines attached to the artillery, one on top and one on bottom. There could also be one on each side, but I don't know if I should. What do all of you think?
I will have more on the artillery as well as other designs later.
