RDA back for series finale?

So according to Ivon, they're all done with the season and quite possibly the series as we know it. Has anyone heard anything if RDA was back for an appearance in the last ep?
He seemed willing, but you would think it would've leaked if he were indeed back to film some scenes. Personally I think regardless how you feel about him and/or Jack he should be back, he's been a huge part of the show.

Yup, I don;t even think they had finished with episode 18, but it was too late to go back and re-write that one, but yes 19 and 20 were written after the news came out.

it won't break my heart with RDA not being in the series finile ......i don't see how he would fit in

I don't care if Cameo O'Neill is in the series finale. After his five-minute appearances in "Avalon, Part 1," "Origin," and "200," I just don't care. Atlantis is hogging O'Neill this year.

O'Neill will return for a second episode this year, and that's it. If he were in the series finale, I think the news would be out by now.

Depends on whether TPTB still feel that they have to hammer home Mitchell's "leadership abilities" when the show is ending.

I think they've got a fairly good idea. If there was to be a last minute save, they would know about it by now.

There's also ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) to do by actors, Greg Anderson (the Prior in TPTB episode) said he finished his work on it yesterday for "Line in the sand" episode, and it's quite possible that RDA had also some ADR to do for "The Shroud" episode.

Precisely. Brad Wright said it's the SEASON's finale, not series finale yet.

FCOL, I so want Jack to come back for the finale. I wonder if TPTB made the effort to include Jack following the news of the series cancellation? If not, I hope that they wrote a meaningful storyline with significant dialogue for his guest appearance in The Shroud.

I also think that if RDA was to have been in the finale, we would have heard about it by now, especially as filming has finished now or is about to. But you never know, anyway I'm sure there's a very good chance we'll see him in movies/mini series whatever they do.

From what I've heard he does have a significant role in The Shroud so looking forward to that one.

I'm surprised by how many eps he's been in so far for SG-1 and Atlantis, but I'm all for it.
