Sadly I think that actors that have done Sci-fi get "type casted" into the sci-fi roles or are as you say AG, are treated as "newbies". Which is unfortunate when you have very talented individuals such as Joe Flannigan who may be excellent choices for some of these other roles, however are never given the opportunity to really show the range that they have and can doMy Life Motto: There are no wrong roads in life just paths that lead to unexpected Adventures.

To me, though it's more about getting the right actor for the part and Joe just has that charisma for the Rockford I grew up watching so I hope that Mulroney can pleasantly surprise me because based on the work of his that I have seen he doesn't strike me as the Rockford type!sigpic

I need conformation and the video I saw was too low res. for me to be sure.

RDA to have a recuring role on a new USA series;
What happens when you combine bicarbonate of soda, a wad of chewing gum, white vinegar, and a makeshift fuse fashioned from a Marlboro Light? You get Richard Dean Anderson guest-starring on the upcoming USA Network series ‘Facing Kate.’
Fancast has learned exclusively that the star of yes, ‘MacGyver,’ as well as ‘Stargate SG-1‘ will appear on at least five episodes of the fall series, which stars the totally gorgeous Sarah Shahi (’Life’) as Kate Reed, a top-flight litigator who leaves her firm to become a mediator.
