I was thinking the same thing the other day...I was thinking blue or a blueish-grey. Cuz of this cap i found from "Birds of Prey" But he seems to have the kind of eyes that change depending on what he's wearing. Which makes his eyes so much more mesmerizing to look at.Originally Posted by Liv

Oh you should see that one scene in Dawson's creek where he's kissing with one of those kids. My overactive imagination went straight down the gutter chute really quick. I think i'm still dow there too!Originally Posted by marimba26

Well, you made me pull out my cast photos and photo loupe. And look up "eye color" on the Internet, where I got a good dose of genetics.Originally Posted by Liv
When I look at Joe's eyes in my different photos, they have a kind of steel gray base with a brown overlay and a darker brown inner ring around the pupil. Here's the best example I've found on GateWorld. It's from the episode "Underground".
Torri's eyes, who for some reason I thought were blue grayish, actually photograph like Joe's eyes, but with a more even cast. For example, in this photo her eyes look to be bluish but with a brownish cast to them. I wonder if her eyes are considered green?
David's and Paul's eyes are definitely blue, both in my photos and online. But because in this GateWorld photo David was wearing a darker uniform than Paul, David's eyes look darker, which may not be the case in real life.
These are the best photos I've found to check their eye color. They were take with a white background so there are fewer other reflected colors. Of course, this all depends on your monitor's calibration.
Hey, thanks for making me look at all my photos again! Someday I hope to have checked out all their eyes in person! One down (I've met Rachel), 5 to go!

Yes, this. Sometimes I see actors who 'fall out' of a scene, especially when they're in the background and not the focus of the scene right then, but Joe's completely there and in the moment the entire time.Originally Posted by Merlin7

It sure does seem like it, and I read the following on one web-site:Originally Posted by Athenaktt

And yes, definitely mesmerizing!
Great post, watcher. Glad I could inspire you to post the pics!Originally Posted by watcher652

From my research...I'd say 5'11...which is about 1.80 m? (is horrible in coverting to metric system)Originally Posted by Major Clanger

5'11 is a good height...
edit: haha...oops i just saw my typo...not CM but M...if it was CM he'd be pretty tiny.

And I thank you for doing the converting.Originally Posted by Athenaktt

I've been wondering about his height too, and around 1.78-1.80 would be my guess.

Hmm. I keep guessing closer to six foot. A couple of others have said about the same on another MB
Isn't RDA like 6 foot one? Cause there's a pic of him and Joe next to each other and Joe looks and inch shorter. David Hewlett is supposedly 5/10 and Joe looks about 2 inches taller in side by side shots. The candids.
So maybe 5'11 1/2" ?
If 5'11 is about 1.80, what does 5'11 1/2 and 6'0 translate to? 1.82 - 1.84?Originally Posted by Merlin7
Here's a picture of Sheppard standing next to Sumner from Rising and he does look taller than Robert Patrick in this picture, I think. Plus, Patrick has the cap on too.

I'm jealous. Some fellow posters at SCIFI.com on the M.A.J.O.R thread went to the London con this weekend and got to meet Joe. One got a hug. All agree he's even more gorgeous in person. *Sigh*
I desperately want to get my hands on a transcript from that convention, but they should show up soon enough, shouldn't they. *fingers crossed*Originally Posted by Merlin7
And even more, I want to actually attend one of these conventions. A hug from Joe... I'd like to think I would be brave enough to ask him for a hug. One can dream anyway.
And how is it possible for him to be even more gorgeous? The man is perfect already.
*joins you in being jealous*![]()

And for spoilers on THE EYE
I would love to attend a con some day. I met my second fave Soap star in person and got hugs and talked at him while he was signing pics for almost two hours. Course...I'm not shy. So I would love to meet Joe. I should be cool.
I have no clue how he could be MORE gorgeous in person .But I hope to get a chance to judge for myself some day! LOL
Well, I'm not a particularly shy person either, but I'm thinking - I meet Joe and my knees will most definitely get a little weak. To say the least.Originally Posted by Merlin7
