Cliff Simon (Ba'al) for Bond Villain

At the Chicago Creation Convention over the weekend of August 25th to 27th, Cliff Simon expressed an interest to be the next James Bond, if the current one doesn't do well. Cliff is a kind, thoughtful man who always makes time to talk with his fans. He is suave, sofisticated and damned good looking. He deserves this, especially if Stargate ends at the end of this season. On his behalf, I am encouraging a writing campagne to make this happen. So, for all you wonderful people who want to see Cliff as the next James Bond, or at least the bad guy opposite him, here is the name and address of the head honcho you need to write to. Letters are best, but I'll give you a phone number too, if you want to phone and pester them:

Mr. Harry E. Sloan, Chairman & CEO
    MGM Studios
    10250 Constellation Blvd.
    Los angeles, CA. 90067

    Tel: 310-449-3000

Please encourage everyone you know to write or phone so Cliff can get his dream job.

    Thanks so much, everyone.

"If the current one doesn't do well"? Its Daniel Sodding Craig! Of course he won't do well! The man can't act! Cliff would make a pretty good Bond actually. He would also make a great villain, I can see it now

Daniel Craig: You expect me to talk?
Cliff Simon : No Mr. bond I expect you to die! Then I'll revive you, kill you again, revive you, kill you again, revive you -
Daniel Craig: Oh for cryin' out loud!
Equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

Oi. That's O'Neill's favourite expression! Don't compare Craig with RDA!
Coming soon to Syfy and DVD... hopefully!

It says on IMDB that Cliff Simon is South African. I don't have anything against that but who ever does play James Bond should be British. There has only been 1 Bond who wasn't British; George Lazenby and look how good he was at playing Bond, he was c**P. Of course being British myself I could be biased.
Anyway Daniel Craig might make a good Bond we haven't seen the movie yet so lets not judge him yet.
There is one other guy who I reckon would make a good Bond; Colin "Paul Robinson" Salmon.

As far as I know there was only one actor who wasn't British, but here was only one who was English, so it doesn't really matter that much. But if Cliff can't shake off his accent for an alien, how is he going to do it for Bond?

            excluding Daniel Craig:

            # Sean Connery (1962–1967; 1971) Scottish
            # George Lazenby (1969) Australian
            # Roger Moore (1973–1985) English
            # Timothy Dalton (1987–1989) Welsh
            # Pierce Brosnan (1995–2002) Irish-American

Thanks for the input everyone, but the whole idea here is to promote Cliff Simon as either Bond or the villain. I'd love to see Cliff as Bond. I think he'd work on his British accent for a role like that. And if there is no hard and fast rule that the man HAS to be British, isn't a historically Commonwealth country like S. Africa close enough? The point is, he fits the bill as the Bond type. And I could really see him playing baccarat at a casino in Monte Carlo. So, please, guys...one letter....

As Bond, I don't know. But as a villain, most definitely. He'd play that part very well IMO.

Oh, PLEASE, please, Please be a Villan in the next movie - that'd be so cool

He suits the role of a determined, multi-dimensional villan so well!

It's a joke. My way of deflecting attention from my own obvious heroism. You'll get used to it.

                              I don't want him type-cast.
