Ok when Ronon was sent back to his home world for the Wraith to hunt , did you see all those cool weapons that was left behind ?

STARGATE or at Least the Altantis team should go bakc there and get those weapons for there selfs ... Could come handy when we are in firefights with the Wraith ..

Where did you get that information? From what I gathered they sent Ronon there to kill him on his homeworld. Didn't look anything like a hunting ground for runners by wraith.

I think it's an excellent idea to go back, his weaponry was great..most people said the Wraith were too easy to kill but people forget that Ronon's weaponry is super advanced, the reason the Satedans weren't as formidable for the wraith as they could have been is because they don't have ships with the same weaponry and the wraith's were kicking their ass from the air. On land Ronon is on an even keel with the Wraith.

What I'm most curious about is the fact that the planet was so advanced during Ronon's lifetime and rather than destroy the civilization but let some of the people live to reproduce, as they do with other worlds, they pretty much wiped it out entirely. Not a single person left.

Even with a few advanced hand-held weapons, they couldn't prove that much of a threat to the Wraith after their civilization was destroyed. Was there something else special about his people?

They looked almost like a modern earth country.. with a few exceptions. We should go back there and retrive not only weapons but see if they have any useful tech. Equip every member of Atlantis with Ronans super pistol?

Sateda's weapons were not that advanced in comparision to our own, the weaponry seen were the same rifles as the Genii use *(The three barrels rifles)* also an autoshotgun used by SG-1 when fighting the replicators, and pistols that look to of been a cutt down version of double barrled sawn off shotguns.

The weaponry wasnt as advanced as you so beleave or the civilisaion, at their time and the architecure of the buildings show that thier medical and living were probably the same as earth in the 1940's, their clothing also seemed the same as that period.

Notice also thier technology, you do not see televisions or anthing along the lines of electronical luxuary items, so im sorry to say the world of sateda has nothing to offer us.

Back to the weapons, earths weapons are far more advanced because they inflict more damage and take less time to reload, now the sateda weapons granted seemed to kill with one round but still their reload time much of been painstacking hence why he placed them at stretegic points for himself. Our p90's that the team use fire 50 rounds, the 3 barreled riffle fired a max of 3 before a need to re-cock (reload), our pistols the berreta 92F used by the team fire 15 rounds as the pistol ronon used fired only two. The body armour he used also was of leather construction, not of kevelar like our own.

I think what made ronon survive more was his amazing tactical and military skills not the equipment he was using at the time.

If the wraith were smart, they'd train for war by keeping Sateda there and toying with them, being intelligent they must know someday someones going to try to attack them, this way theyd be prepared..

Well didn't the most important people of Sateda get out? Ronans wife (not sure if it was his wife or girlfriend ..) was suppose to go with them but we know that she didn't want to leave and got blown up.

No-one said anything about the most important people - she was supposed to go with Kel's group. We know he got out - he betrayed his troops to do it.

And just because they look like a 1940s nation dosen't mean they wouldnt have something that could be useful, it may not be a super weapon but it could be something else? Gotta remember it's an Alien planet.
