Well, Vala isn't a god and Stargate doesn't take place in Middle-Earth. So I would have to say that any connection between her and the Valar is very unlikely.

Some time ago I joked about the Maiar being the Ancients, the elves being Asgard, the hobbits being Nox and the Dwarves being Furlings.

Not quite... The Asgard are the hobbits(both short), and the Nox are the elves(Elves and Nox both live around trees)
