Compared to Battlestar Galactica and other even just Average Drama shows, Stargate's Guest Charactarisation is sloppy at best, yet when faced with recurring characters, the writers seem to be just fine.
Why the hell are there only a few stereotypical human characterisations, "the lovable rogue", "the doting wife", "the 2nd in charge that dosn't trust the teams, and cant understand why the leader does" etc, why can't the guest characters have a bit of depth to them.
The leaders from Red Sky and Memento and Cure are PRIME EXAMPLES of COPYCAT writing.
...and i thought stargate was supposed to be better that Star Trek?
P.S. Before any bashers jump down my throat for being Anti-Stargate, you should know i have watched the show since it began, and i own seasons 1-8 on dvd and Atlantis season 1, and they are brilliant!
P.SS I've grown to despise Ben Browder since his appearance on SG-1 and to be quite honest i think the show has gone down the tubes with this ****ty Ori storyline.
