4 is my fave, as that's the first exposure before going back and seeing the older stuff...

I'm quite partial to the DT theme currently running.

    PD is 3rd.
    Thanks!

I grew up with 3 through 5 and definitely lean towards 5 as my favorite - although they miss something without the context of the intro sequence (the swooshes in particular).

8 is my new favourite, I dont really like the First.
Equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

    Gee, that was fun...
I like the middle versions the least... More partial to the early (1-4) and more recent versions (9-10).

I will have to be honest here. I love the current theme most of all! Something about that orchestration with the moog sounding music that makes me think how much they nailed it!!!

I'm all full of nostalgia now

I like the current one a lot. I'm not good at describing music, but the current theme feels like all the elements are fused, compared with the 1-7 themes which kept each element separate. I did like the 1-7 themes, but the current tune suits the current graphics perfectly. I like that they've kept all the essential elements: additions don't bother me but subtractions would. I'm glad that the middle eight has been put back, I always loved that bit, though I'm a bit 'meh' about how they've done the middle eight this time

Of the first seven, my favourite is Four. I do like Five, but it's hard to tell how much of that is the nostalgia.

Six and Seven are a bit too synthesizery, a bit too obviously electronic. Still decent though.

The eighth seems rather weird, and not in the good way. It felt more like the music at the medal ceremony at the end of Star Wars.

The sixth one, infamously, was done in a weekend under bad conditions when the production team never got around to providing the new composer with the sheet music or original recordings but expected him to keep to deadline anyway. He had to do the whole thing from memory, essentially, so did a pretty good job all things considered.

i like the 10th one (and the middle 8). The middle 8 theme would make an awesome ringtone.
