I was wondering if there is a way to save favorite posts on this forum.
Sometimes I'd like to refer back to a particular item that I've read before, and was not sure if there is a function like this. (But guess I could just create a Word document on my desktop and save them to that).

You can click on the post number (the #xxxx beside the rep symbol), and that will bring up the post by itself. Then just bookmark it.

OK, I have another question - I am such a computer dummy
When I submit a post and want to link to another site or another post how do I insert the link without ending up seeing the whole "http://blablablabla" thingie? I see lots of people just including a see here which leads to the site in question. So sorry if this is basic stuff, but I am stumped. (I did try searching but was not lucky)

there is another way . This is how I use it, I had no idea there is another way

*I did think that the point at wich you could add your own was 1800 (posts) but I've noticed some people saying its more like 2000 (aswell as other post counts)...*

Yeah, it's 2000 (+ the time for the forum to acknowledge that and give you the priviledge - can take a couple of hours). It used to be 1800, but went up a couple of years ago.

As for moving pics - I don't think there's any particular point for those - I suspect you can use them as a custom av after 2000, HOWEVER, only if they're smaller than the file limit size (7.8 KB) ... which is unlikely, I'd imagine.

0-24: Prim'tah
25-49: Mature Symbiote
50 -99: Jaffa Fodder
100-199: Jaffa Warrior
200-349: Super-soldier
350-499: Death Glider Pilot
500-999 Goa'uld Underling
1000-2499: Royal Guard
2500-4999: First Prime
5000+: Goa'uld Lord

yeah i think it changes the first time when you reach 100 posts. remeber that any posts you make within the fun and games, rpg or off topic sections will not go towards your post count.
