I was wondering if anyone was going to reply to my thread,

Now I have a question that had been bothering me for some time.

In all Kira/Odo related fanfiction their children is indicated as being more like Odo, namely "liquidy" than solid like Kira.

Now I don't know a lot about biology, but I think their children will be more like those guys in Star Trek Enterprise that was able to change their facial appearances and able to slide below doorways etc. but they still had a sceleton format.

Reason why I say this is that surely Kira's DNA will have a huge impact on any such offspring.

So, if they did have kids, would they be able to pass for human by either have the nose thing diluted or being able to turn it on/off?

They just have chemistry, and I always felt a little sorry for Odo in the earlier eps when Kira was going on and on about her current BF like he wasn't even there. Was she that clueless?

I think at the beginning they will look more like Odo or at least a little bit strange but as they grow bigger they will be able to mimicked a humanoid face perfectly.

Maybe they will also be born with "default" facial features??

Another thing that always interest me. How would Odo and Kira be able to have kids in the first place considering the huge difference in the biological make-up?

I can only see Bashir having this brilliant discovery.

Yeah, I just loved Odo's angst and felt so sorry for him.

Also something which I liked about their relationship is the fact that Odo only remained loyal to the "solids" because of Kira.

Remember how that one founder said they always thought what kept Odo with the solids and now they knew it was because of Kira.
