      Besides its general awesomeness?

Well clearly, if you haven't been watching it then you've been missing out on the awesomeness

More Betwixt Casting: Aaron Douglas is Det. Joe Frakes

Some more casting news to come from the Betwixt pilot shoot….

Battlestar Galactica actor Aaron Douglas has Tweeted today that he has joined the cast of The CW’s Betwixt pilot.

It sounds like this role might be a recurring one!

I just spotted the actor who played Crashdown playing a henchman for a mob boss in Crank (awesome movie, BTW). Didn't have any lines, though.

And he's both the voice and physical source model for the Apprentice in the Star Wars Force Unleashed games

Oh...Sam Witwer was in BSG! I forgot about that! He was also in Season 8 of Smallville and the 2007 fantastic movie "The Mist."

                          Good RDM interview by wired.co.uk.

Galactica creator on why he steered clear of ‘technobabble’
Moore: That’s why I like it. I wanted to make a show that took science fiction back to what it used to really be all about. Science fiction used to be a way to explore society. It was always about today, where the author was at that moment, and took the science fiction prism and altered certain things, [giving] a distance to the audience to examine interesting questions. Questions of morality, existential questions, where are we going as a people, what is technology doing to us, how is the human condition going to change?

I felt that science fiction, especially film science fiction, had gotten away from that. It had become almost solely an escapist medium. And there’s nothing wrong with escapism -- I love Star Wars as much as anybody. However, it shouldn’t be the only flavour of this genre. There should be room for the shows that are about examining issues, really challenging the audience, pushing the audience in directions that they may not be comfortable with. I thought, if ever there was a moment to do that, it was at that moment of doing Battlestar Galactica.

Read the whole thing at the link.
                          IMO always implied.

So it's been a year since this topic was last revived, but I feel this fits here better than anywhere more recently active. I was searching for images of the Galactica's CIC and found this rather unique production photo in an article from the LA Times.

                                http://latimesherocomplex.files.word...g2091186_2.jpg

Its caption says that "You can also see Alessandro Juliani (Lt. Felix Gaeta) and Grace Park (Sharon Agathon) chatting in the background" despite that neither seem to be deep in conversation. Gaeta's just standing by his post and Sharon, though possibly speaking, more overtly seems very oddly, almost hilariously, to be grabbing the jaw of crew member, like Prince Hamlet holding up the skull of his dear Yorick. I'd love to know what's going on here, or short of that, ordain a caption contest to devise a satisfying story in all likelihood of never uncovering the context of this moment! Most of all however I'm intrigued to see that Grace Park seems to be wearing glasses? I would really like to see more of her with those. This is the largest sized photo available online by reverse image search and indeed one of the few sources providing the photo at all, so I ask, has anyone seen or read about her wearing glasses before?
