I didn't see anything crashed...but I did come across Port Lockroy, a tiny island with the Scottish flag flying and some Scottish people at the museum/research station/gift shop hey, close enough

Is it just me or does that remind anyone else of that ice building thing in the Superman movie?

wow lovely pictures! Why were you in Antarctica?

It was a trip arranged by my school. An Argentinca/Antarctica trip.

a pic of the ship I went on, Explorer aka The Little Red Ship. 104 passengers. see that blue sky...we had it 90% of the time, I swear. Apparently the best weather in over a decade.

Adelie penguins lining up on the shore. They moved in huddles and kept running along the shore. They also kept diving in and diving out again. We were told they were anxious because a seal (one of the types that eats them) was nearby.

It took be ages to get a picture of this - it's a penguin diving in and out of the water like a dolphin. They did that a lot. One even landed in a Zodiac (small boat used to get to shore).
