Who'd Win Teal'c or Daniel Jackson?

Teal'c definitly
Teal'c is a strong fighter with a staff weapon
Daniel has his books and is not that good of a fighter

Daniel is a very good fighter when he has a gun. Check out the movie, Serpent's Lair, Forever in a Day and Enemies, just for starters.

If the two of them were fighting using weapons, then I can't say who'd win. If you're talking about either boxing or wrestling, then I imagine it would be quite close although Teal'c would probably just shade it as he's slightly taller and heavier. Unless Daniel were taken by surprise or didn't want to fight, I think he'd give a good account of himself.

I like Michael Shanks and Lexa Doig together... I think they make a cool couple, not to mention HOT.
And they both have this habit of speaking real fast sometimes.

But... I think Teal'c would literally wipe the floor with Daniel. Let's not forget however that Daniel was an Ancient once and he did take on Anubis, so he is not exactly a push-over.
Actually, after Teal'c... he is the bulkyest guy on the team! I think he could take O'neil, if he had enough prep time.

Daniel may be good using a gun, but I would say that Teal'c would win because of his Jaffa training and his previous experience of fighting more powerful things than Daniel (no offense to Daniel)

Being stronger doesn't make one win. If we look at Japanese fighters and let them fight a Western fighter the Japanese will most likely win, while they're smaller and don't have the same amount of muscles.

I think Teal'c would win - Daniel is good, but Teal'c has had up to a hundred years of experience, whereas Daniel only has a few years...

Why assume Teal'c is not smart? Not every big dude is stupid.

And even though he's not the walking brain Daniel is, he was still trained from birth to fight. Daniel may know twenty-three ways to conjugate the verb 'to kill', but Teal'c knows at least as many ways to enact it.

Yes, I would agree with you on that one. Tealc can bench press 200+ lbs, but Daniel gots the brain. Its a really tough one for me. I would have said Tealc too but if Daniel were to use his brains, he can easily win again a humoungous guy like Tealc.

Have you not heard the story of David and Goliath? Daniel can be David, and Tealc can be Goliath. He just needs to use his head. Brain power VS Muscle power.

Being intelligent doesn't mean you know karate. To be a good fighter, you NEED intelligence, as well as instinct; two things that Teal'c was BRED to have! There's more than one kind of smart. Danny reads loads of books, but Teal'c is street smart (well, maybe not on THIS planet, but you get where Im going with this...).
