While there may be no new televised Star Trek to look forward to on the horizon this year, there are still going to be plenty of new adventures featuring favorite characters from all the series to look forward to in the pages of the novels. 2006 will see the celebration of Star Trek’s 40th anniversary, the conclusion of the popular Starfleet Corps of Engineers series, which will be reborn under a slightly different title, and a whole host of original new stories that span the Star Trek universe.
