I dunno about you guys, but i love the Mark VII. It seems to me it was the F-22A of the Colonial military. Thrust vectoring, 3 cannons, and larger wings for better atmo-combat. Even though the CNP cause the substantial loss of alot of them during the Cylon attack, its removal makes it just as survivable as the MK IIs, and possibly more manuverable. This is seen with BSG's top pilots being the only ones flying them.
In addition to which, Viper design is just awesome, with the pilot in the center of gravity, it can be very agile in space combat. The MK II may have sucky low speed atmo handling, but the MK VII improves upon that deficiency...
Geez, i hope they make a new BSG game too. These ships are beautiful!
