Ancient Cities Only Have Three syllables

Did anyone notice that there is a pattern to Ancient city names:

    Vis-Ur-ban, from Fallen
    Ta-o-nas, from The Lost City
    At-lan-tis, from The Lost City

Each has three syllables. Could this be a pattern? There are other simularities. The syllables in Taonas also forms part of its gate address. Couldn't Atlantis spell out part of Earth's address? It is odd that the first syllable, At, is also on the stargate - it is Earth's point of origin.

    Interesting coincidences.

In Lost City, Jack says Terra Atlantis that's only 5 syllables though.

Guys, please - Season seven is still spoilers for some people.

You need spoiler space, or at the very least, spoiler warnings in the title.

I didn't think it was that spoilery... I just mentioned a name.

actually it was Pro-cla-rosh Ta-o-nas...if they're gate addresses, they'd have to be six syllables...

"I think that, to some degree, all of us are fractured souls. Cut in half. And we wander through life looking for the rest of ourselves. And sometimes we're fortunate enough to meet someone who possesses, in themselves, the part of ourselves that we've been missing. We may not realize it on a conscious level, but definitely on a subconscious level. We see in someone else... something of ourselves. Thats why sometimes you meet someone and you just immediately feel comfortable with them. You feel like you've known them all your life. The reason is that they're a part of you, and you're a part of them. You're soul mates. you... fit. And once you've fit together, nothing can pull you apart unless you let go."

describes Sam and Jack pretty well to me!

Pro-cla-rosh Ta-o-nas was the name of the planet. Once they got there, O'Neill pointed to the outpost and said Ta-o-nas.

So how would atlantis work in this case?

                    Ter-Ra-At-Lan-Tis= 5/6, 7=At(Earth)

or would atlantis be 7, and then at(earth)??

                    Su-bos-gla-ci-os couldn't work

                    Ummmmm I don't know...any ideas?

What does 'under the ice' have to do with this?

                          But that's not it's name.
                          Spoilers, Rising

When it was built, it wasn't under the ice, as we saw in Atlantis's openner. It was like...a pedastle that the city sat on or something.
