Synopis of NEW new (new...) SGA Promo Commercial
Synopsis of NEW Stargate Atlantis commercial that aired Friday night with "New Order" (this commercial ran approximately 30 seconds):
Commercial starts with a voice over of Jack O'Neill's voice:
"With the amount of power you'll need to make this trek, odds are it'll be one way."
(Note: Trek -- love it.)
While we hear Jack's voice, the clips being shown are:
1) NEW -- view of the underwater city, with engines thrusting against the sea bed
2) NEW -- view of the city rising up through the water
Now we have a voice over of Dr. Weir:
"Begin the dialing sequence!"
While we hear Dr. Weir's voice, the clips being shown are:
3) Previously shown clip of the SGC Gateroom, filled with personnel, including Major John Shephard and Dr. Beckett/
4) NEW version of travel inside the Stargate Atlantis wormhole
5) Previously shown clip of SGA personnel arriving at the Atlantis control room
Announcer's voice over:
"A new team will unlock mankind's greatest mystery..."
While we hear the announcer's voice, the clips being shown are:
6) Previously shown clip of Weir, Sumner, Shephard searching Atlantis
7) NEW clip of Atlantis rising in the water (continuation of)
8) Previous shown clip of Weir and Sumner, with Weir saying, "We're under water."
9) NEW clip of Atlantis breaking the surface of the water (point of view from below the surface)
10) NEW clip of Atlantis breaking the surface of the water into brilliant daylight (point of view from above the surface)
11) NEW clip of Weir yelling, "Reactive the shields" -- Behind her, there's a SGA personnel sitting at a console
12) NEW view of the SGA Stargate lighting up
Announcer's voice over:
"And it's greatest threat!"
And we're seeing these clips:
13) NEW clip -- a view of an active Stargate orbiting a planet in space (possible sun partially in view at the planet's curve), and space ships approaching the Stargate
14) NEW clip of Shephard in Atlantis
15) NEW longer version of Wraith screaming
16) NEW clip of Dr. Weir at Atlantis yelling, "What's happening?"
17) NEW clip of two people running towards the camera in the woods, and they're illuminated by light...and beamed up?
18) NEW clip of Teyla outside in the woods (night time) yelling, "Wraith!"
19) NEW clip of Sumner running, looking over his shoulder behind him, yelling, "Take cover!" (Nighttime in the woods, at a campsite.)
20) NEW An SGA personnel firing his P-90 at something/someone elevated (nighttime in the woods)
21) NEW Night time in the woods, view of an alien ship in the sky, being struck by something (missile, beam of light, rocket?) and exploding
22) McKay, inside possibly a puddle jumper (cramped space, low ceiling), throwing down a piece of wire/cable, and saying, "So much for Plan A!"
Announcer's voice over of the SGA title card:
"Stargate Atlantis.
A SciFi Channel original series.
Premieres next Friday at 9 on SciFi."
