Channel 7 here in Australia has the best Sci-Fi shows but they just consider them as jaffa excrement.

*sigh* Well, Stargate started off at 7:30 pm on 7...then 8:30....then 9:30....THEN 10:30....oh, and then 11:30...are we up to midnight and 12:30? I hate reality shows! Especially...."dancing with the stars"

They put it on Friday nights over here on the scifi channel in the states. go figure. thankfully I have a DVR to record it.

I *hate* Aussie free-to-air networks. They promote piracy.
However, FOX8 on Austar and Foxtel have been airing Firefly at 8:30 on...some night, I forget which. They've been airing it one episode per week since the BDM opened.

Well, looking around I found some interesting sites with music videos
Has several different vids (they have a shepherd book vid there, you're probably thinking I've never seen one for him, well, after seeing it, you'll never need to see one again, it just about covers everything about his character, lol!)
The closest thing I could find to Firefly fan music vid listings...

Maybe we could make a thread here...? just a thought.

Wasn't sure where else to put this (didn't really think it needed a whole thread), anyway, according to RDM's blog, Mark Sheppard (Badger) has been cast in BSG and will figure prominantly in the season three finale. The nature/name of the character was undisclosed. I believe it also said that he is featured in a roundtable discussion BSG podcast available at Scifi.com

Personally, I can't wait to see him in BSG- he was great as Badger, very talented actor.

Why didnt they just teraform planets/moons in our solar sytem. There is abour 100 moons in our solarsystem that we know of and they could have terraformed mars.

There's nothing to suggest that they didn't.
But Mal wanted to be as far away from the Alliance as much as he could so the stories tend to revolve around outer planets.

Does anybody know the name of the theme played during Serenity's re-entry at the beginning of the movie, and hopefully a link to the MP3 version of it?

Does anybody know where can I find the outtake scene in which Nathan is dancing right next to the Serenity ??? I have the DVDs ( both regular and special edition ) but I'd like to have this particular scene on my PC.
