he played a trash man...it was a quick shot...
oh also a much younger christopher judge made an appearence as a student...
just thought i'd share...
Don Davis was also the pete characters stunt double.
Alot of the actors on SG-1 have been recycled Macgyver actors.

Also a very young Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terri Hatcher.
Jack Dalton also sort of looks like Maybourne
His friend is actually Dana Elcar who I agree looks like Hammond but isn'tOriginally Posted by cheaperbydozen4
As well as being his stunt double he was also there for lighting set up and for continuity shots. (Back of the head sort of things) He was talking about it on one of the specials on one of the box sets. Sorry, can't remember which one.Originally Posted by Kirath
He had a more major role in a different ep as a poacher that Macguyver had to foil. Don't worry, he was the one with the conscience. (That series was extremely formulaic, from what little I've seen of it.)Originally Posted by stargaterocks

Now, there's this about cynicism. It's the universe's most supine moral position. Real comfortable. If nothing can be done, then you're not some kind of **** for not doing it, and you can lie there and stink to yourself in perfect peace.

omg i missed an episode of macgyver...
he was also on the dead zone...
I didnt really like Macgyver I saw a few eps on Bravo the other day. RDAs hair is very long and offputting.

Coming Soon a new Banner from Me
that was the 80"s everyone's hair was uplifted and they all wore some real weird clothes...he was no excetion...that was probably a bad time for him, and he probably laughs about it...i know i do...
I knew Don Davis played the trash man beacuse I watched the episode. But I didn't know Cristopher Judge played in MacGyver. Do you know perhaps which episode he played in.Originally Posted by stargaterocks

In the middle of my backswing!!!
honestly i'm not sure which episode it was...
now that i'm thinking about it i can't remember...
macgyver was at the school talking to the students...
maybe the one ralph macchio was in...
C.J. played a character in the episode Live and Learn. Hammond played a hunter in another episode. Peter Williams "Apophis" made an appearance or two. and if you dont mind sitting through a horrible movie, C.j. is in House Party 2. also i believe Dana Elcar (Pete) died this year.Originally Posted by colonel O'Neill
Hello! De-lurking to post the following information.....cause I miss Jack and I miss RDA!!!!!!!!!
Don Davis mentioned to a member of the S/J Ship Family (at the New Jersey con) that RDA thought fans were angry with him for leaving the show. We talked about letting him know how much we miss him and how he needs to come back for a couple of eps a yer, or at least wrap up his storyline. We talked about doing this through a web site, but I think I have a way that would be more effective--by sending letters to his agent and Gekko. minigeek, who works in TV, got the addresses below for me. I think mail sent to one or more of these places would be much more likely to reach him.
Here's the information I have.
Richard Dean Anderson
c/o Gekko Film Corporation
1122 South Robertson, Boulevard, Suite 15
Los Angeles, CA 90035, USA
Richard Dean Anderson
c/o ICM (International Creative Management)
8942 Wilshire Blvd.
CA 90211, USA
Nell also suggested that we should write TPTB and let them know how much we want to see RDA back. I think I’ll do that too. Here is the address where you can write RCC, JM, PM or any of the TPTB:
The Bridge Studios
2400 Boundary Rd
Burnaby, British Columbia
minigeek also suggested checking the Screen Actors Guild for addresses that might get mail to RDA, but I had trouble navigating their web site….then work went bonkers and I haven’t had time to go back. If anyone can help with contact info for him through SAG, please post it. So, I'd suggest these for now.....and I'm going to write.
How many would write? Could you post here and give us an idea?
Macgyver, boy does that bring back memories. I remember when I first saw Sg-1, I couldn't picture RDA as anyone but Macgyver. Now, nine years later, I can't picture him as anyone but Jack O'Neill. Funny how things change.
MS - "Boy, wow that's a great question!"
"Anyone know what SENTIENT means???"

Hammond was Dana Elcar's stand in and stunt double on Macgyver.Originally Posted by cheaperbydozen4
Just look on imdb.com, a lot of the SG-1 guest stars were on MacGyver. RDA probably had nothing to do with this...
