    Cyan Worlds closes it's doors.

    Today was a sad day to me. Cyan Worlds Inc., formerly known as Cyan, creators of the landmark videogames Myst and Riven laid off all but 2 of it's employees today, and will be closing it's Spokane area offices as of today. The Myst series has been an important part of my life for over a decade now, and as of today, it's over. Perhaps, the ending has truly been written.

      Wow, that sucks. Of course, I can't even get Riven to play on my comps, but I liked Myst. The games were certainly a hell of a lot more interesting and thinking-centric than all the FPS shoot-em-ups out there on the market today.

      I guess people just don't want to think anymore when they play video games.
