So far we know nothing about the season final therefore we do not know which direction they will take the show if there is another battle with wraith and Atlantis then we certainly need more zpm.

If they didn't do it with 'Childhood's End', then I think it's safe to say they won't be doing it in 'The Tower' either. Espeically considering in S1 they were extremely desperate for a power source. Whereas in S2 they have a relatively full one & so can do everything that they need it to.

Even if they got another ZPM, then if they were re-exposed to the Wraith then it would only buy them a couple of days extra anyway. So the main goal is to stay in the shadows & out of the Wraith's reach. If they do that then the single ZPM that they currently have will last them a few lifetimes.

they seem to be rapidly losing the ability to defend themselves against the wraith anyways because of the weakening of the ancient gene. Gene therapy might help but it might not either. If not, it might make sense to invite them back to Atlantis and bring the ZPM and all their drones with them. Their drones and our shield should make the wraith think twice before they attack again.

The ancients all had the ancient gene, zpms and lots of drones and they lost the war and it's not known how populated the planet is, there might not be enough room in Atlantis. SGA can't keep taking back every civilisation to Atlantis unless they're desperate, it'll get unpractable. Anyway the ppl might not want to go and if they did there'll probably be tension like there was with Teyla's ppl. As for getting a zpm from the ancient warship, that would nice just lets hope the ancients on there are not all ascended otherwsie SGA can forget it.

Personally, I'm suspecting that that planet doesn't have a ZPM anyways but I guess we'll have to wait to find out for sure.

Don't know yet, but I think a zpm would be needed to power the chair unless they invended a generator of some sort themselves. If the ancients live on a ship, unless they could power it while ascended without a zpm, 1 would still be needed, but it's all speculation.

Well judging from the pictures that were released,

I think it's safe to say that they're NOT ascended. We still don't know if the ship requires a ZPM or not. It could be that it runs on a lesser power source, something more akin to a naquadria generator, though we can't be sure the ancients ever discovered naquadria. Hey, maybe it runs on that non-radioactive fissile material from the planet on condemned. :-)

Dr Weir and Teyla won't be happy about that. I find it hard to believe they'll make the same mistake as in childhood's end, unless somehow the civilsation is wiped out and so they don't need it anymore or someone new to Atlantis takes it.
