Shawn the Wraith (Wraith from Condemned) Thunk/Discussion/Appreciation

Uh, I named him. I tried to go for a more cultured name to go along with his character, while still keeping the average name motif of the male Wraith. We've had Steve, Bob, and the unofficially named Greg from Defiant One. Shawn seemed a bit less common so I chose that.

I love the condemned wraith's character. he could've been a great starting point for the wraith to be further established, shame it was never followed up on.

Aye, he was a lovely specimen. Shame they didn't bring him back - but maybe better that way because we can always imagine he survives - even if they kill all Wraith, we can just assume he was smart enough to get away!

Love his finger ornamentation - really wish we'd get a straight answer as to what it's for (just getting a better grip on a meal?). He had such elegance, even for a drooler.

if TPTB eliminate wraith, I'll suck the life out of them myself. then, I'll enjoy some wine with shawn.

he had potential, as have other wraith, but I doubt the writers will realize this.

Ah, Shawn our cultured Wraith has the same kind of elegance as Steve. Wish they could bring him back. But, I don't think James L. would come back and play anymore Wraiths. I would hate to think something bad happen to Shawn just want to think he still has his hive and maybe he is hibernating.

I thought "Shawn" was one of the best Wraith characters ever created. His cultured and mysterious persona was wonderfull. I think the writers did want to bring him back, but instead modified his character into Todd. There are many similarities between their personalities. Todd has calm cultured way, he also hints that he's very high up there in the Wraith hierarchy just like Shawn.

I loved the way James Lafazanos played the Wraiths he created the Wraith personality. There isn't any Wraith that I don't like that was played by James.

Then, I love how Chis Heyerdahl plays Todd. OK I know this is a Shaw thread.

James don´t come back to SGA... I have read some rumours that he got trouble with the producers. I like also all the Wraith who he played. You "feel" his presence

Shawn is awesome. I know some would disagree with me but if they combined him with Greg's "I'm hungry, let me eat you and leave" attitude you would have a super wraith. Of couurse that side would only come out if he's angry.

I think it's the lighting, Todd's hair has a pinkish tint also in some parts of Common Ground.

Or it could be all the red wine.
