Why do I get the impression in Season 2 the Shep & Weir and Shep & Teyla supporters are BOTH going to get their moments ? LOL
And whether Jason denies any Dex & Teyla relationship I fully expect it to be tossed in there
I can see it now Shep with Weir , Shep with Teyla, Shep with guest starring women , Shep with Weir, Shep with Teyla , and so forth LOL
I'm going to see OOOOHHHS and AHHHSS in BOTH Shep & Weir and Shep & Teyla posts
And TPTB know this and will love it all

I'm a longtime member and longtime lurker, but a VERY infrequent poster. However, I did feel the need to point out (as others already have, I'm sure) that there is already a Shep/Weir thread, a Shep/Teyla thread, a Ronon/Teyla thread, McKay/Weir thread, etc., etc., etc.; and for that matter, a whole "ships-in-general" discussion thread.

So isn't this thread a bit redundant?

And Pam, I don't know you but I have read many of your posts over the past year. Though your intention for this particular thread may be for a true, open-minded discussion, I know you have been very vocal in your support of Shep/Teyla and ONLY Shep/Teyla, to the point of deriding other characters. So you should realize that many fans of other ships are understandably skeptical as to your reasons for opening this thread, as well as questioning the need for it.

I guess I'm just afraid that this thread will degenerate into "Shipper Wars: Take #632!".

From the first post in this thread it would seem that the topic is to discuss whether the PTB are going to actually work out the storylines so that supporters of all three ship pairings will get something.

If you want to discuss this topic then please stay in this thread and do so. Posts that aren't on topic will be liable to removal. It is not appropriate to discuss here a person's right to start a topic or even whether that topic should exist. This is a discussion board and folks are free to start any discussions they wish within the rules of the forum. If you don't want to particpate in a discussions then please don't. If you think a topic is out of order, then tell a mod.

Thank you for reminding us to remain on thread GateGipsy, but perhaps if the mods ( I know, you all are already over-worked policing us), would lock redundant threads, there might be more OT and less divergence.

Just a suggestion.

As for this topic, as it has already been discussed on OTHER threads, there is not much to say, except there is currently NO ship existing between Shep and Teyla, Shep and Weir, Teyla and Weir and most definitely, NOT Shep and Dex! Oh sorry, the person must have meant Dex and Teyla, well, there is NO ship there either. And as for the above, IF any ships do ever develop, and they ADD to the storyline, great. If they are there for some vicarious thrill or to placate "shippers", then "not great".
